Children in Need and the One Show
The Children in Need Rickshaw, with Matt Baker from the One Show, Cycling team, camera crew and support team visited PLAYSKILL – Hemel Hempstead.
The Rickshaw Challenge is now in its fourth year and has raised over £5 million for Children In Need. This year, Team Rickshaw was made up of six young people, each supported by projects funded by BBC Children in Need, who powered the rickshaw for more than 450 miles across England. Beginning at the BBC’s Media City near Manchester, the rickshaw undertook a ‘Salford to Walford’ journey across England, finishing live at the iconic EastEnders set during the BBC Children in Need Appeal on Friday 14 November, where the segment on Playskill was featured.
