Playskill Christmas Party 2014

Xmas party 2014

We had a wonderful Christmas party and after school grotto. We had a visit from Fergus McMullen the High Sheriff of Hertfordshire who came in full court dress a pictured here with our staff.

Fergus thanked all the volunteers who work so hard to make Playskill happen. We also thanked Jackie Tannett and Jane Morris from the Ashridge Ladies golf club who have raised over £2000 and Andrew Jordan and his team for the amazing fundraising of £12,000!!!!!!! for Playskill this year. Thanks too to Naomi Judd who raised money from Loom band sales, Natalie Nethercoat’s friend’s donation towards toddle boxes and all the Hemel parents who raised money through their Christmas card sales.

Father Christmas had a magical sensory grotto which looked stunning thanks to hard work from the Webb family. It had beautiful presents all donated from The Fence Club, an association of Toy Manufacturers who donate to children with special needs. Each child with special physical needs got a present and their siblings got one too.

Playskill is funded in Watford by the Big Lottery, and in Hemel Hempstead partly by Children in Need. We are so grateful for their support.
