Spring Watford Reunion Party

red for playskill

We had a wonderful Spring Watford Reunion party in Watford yesterday. It had rained and rained outside, but inside we had ARK farm visit with a wonderful animal petting area, we had a bouncy castle, face painting, parachute games and singing… then beautiful craft and lots of lovely food to enjoy!

We launched our #redforplayskill campaign – raising awareness about our work in April, the 12th anniversary of when we started our first pilot group. We would love people to fundraise too for our new group to start this year as we have families who can’t access a PM group at the moment, and we have not secured a grant for this group but the demand needs a response. Just like in 2013 when we took our “ leap of faith” to set up our Hemel PM group, we can’t wait to help these children, and leaving them waiting is a missed opportunity to change their lives.

Ruth Collins presented a cheque from the Northwood and Liberal Synagogues which will make a massive difference to this – over £5000, at the party to cheer us on our way to helping these children!
