Support from Sainsbury’s Apsley Mills

We were delighted to have a visit on Friday 8th July from Claire Williams and Gemma Smallney from Sainsburys in Apsley to announce that Playskill Hemel Hempstead is their charity of the year. Not only that, but they brought us a cheque for £500 too! We are very grateful for their support.

A few words from them:

Sainsbury’s Apsley Mills are happy to announce our new Local Charity of the Year for 2011- 2012 is Playskill after numerous votes from our customers and staff agreeing it is a very worthy cause. We are looking forward to working with this fantastic cause; they are becoming invaluable in Hemel Hempstead for children with physical needs. We were pleased to surprise Andrea with a cheque for £500 today to start our new relationship. We will be further supporting them with many kinds of fundraising events throughout the year, such as bag packing, non- uniform days and car boot sales. We are also able to help them with a food donation for the upcoming end of term summer party and five year celebration.
