New VAN

We were delighted to receive our new van recently thanks to the hard work and generosity of you, our supporters and the West Herts Charity Trust. The Playskill van is vital in transporting our specialist equipment needed to run each of our groups and will help enormously with the day to day running of the charity.

We rely solely on grants and donations from individuals, trusts and foundations to fund our much-needed work and the donation of this new van will be transformational for us,

Supporters of Playskill raised an incredible £5,000 contribution towards the van with the rest of the funds needed provided by the West Herts Charity Trust.

Andrea Clarke MBE, Founder and Director, Playskill said ‘It was a wonderful surprise to receive the phone call this morning letting me know that our new van was ready for collection. Thanks to the West Herts Charity Trust the transportation of the vital equipment we need each session will be so much easier and safer. I cannot express how thankful we are to all those who made this happen for Playskill. Our groups are often a life-line for parents living with the many challenges having a child with physical needs or delay can bring and being able to see the specialist equipment in use and understand the benefits to their child is brilliant.”

The West Herts Charity Trust was established in 1969 with the Playskill van being their 90th contribution to local good causes. Over the last 10 years the value of these donations is in excess of £1,300,000. Playskill is incredibly grateful to the Trust and its directors for all their work in securing the van.
