Playskill pilot project in Hemel Hempstead

We have exciting news about a Playskill pilot project in Hemel Hempstead based at Woodfield School, Leverstock Green, on Friday mornings. This will be for the Summer term 2010  – to register your child please go to the contact us page and say it is for the Hemel pilot.

The pilot project will run with the same group structure as Watford but will be more accessible to children and families in Dacorum. There will be a specialist team of three therapists as well as an excellent team of experienced parents with older children with special needs working as specialist workers within the group. The group will be partly financed by several local Children Centres and local charities. We are also awaiting the outcome of a funding bid to the Grass Roots Fund. Fingers crossed!

For this pilot group, assessment dates will be on 30th April and 7th May. The 30th April assessment day is now full. There are some places left on 7th May. The group will start on 21st May through to the party on 16th July [there will be no Playskill Hemel on 14th May or 4th June].
